Banking within the Isle of Man you can be certain that the centre is well regulated and has a long history of stable government and strong regulation.

Isle of Man banks adhere to a code of confidentiality and will not disclose client details unless forced to by a court of law. In many jurisdictions including the Isle of Man, this code of confidentiality is enshrined in statue.

The following information will be required for the banks to process your account application in a timely fashion:

  • One certified true copy passport, ID card or driving licence bearing a photograph of each person named on the account. (TIP: take the copy to your local bank and ask them to certify it as a true copy for you before sending)
  • Two separate items (not more than 3 months old) evidencing the residential address of each person named on the account. Acceptable evidence includes a utility bill, credit card statement, bank statement or government/council document. Any copy document must be certified.
  • Six months original consecutive active bank statements OR your latest 3 months original formal payslips OR an original salary confirmation letter from your employers addressed to your chosen bank.
